Progressive muscle relaxation

By continuously practising progressive muscle relaxation, you can not only relieve acute tension, but also reduce your stress levels in the long term, improve your body awareness and bring more inner peace and balance into your everyday life.

rogressive muscle relaxation or progressive muscle relaxation (PMR for short) is an exercise developed by the American physiologist Edmund Jacobson. It aims to relax muscles, recognise tension and release it.

This exercise takes ~ 18 minutes.

What does this exercise do?

PMR not only helps to release muscular tension, but also to recognise the body as a whole.
