Success through Key Skills
At TU Darmstadt, there are numerous opportunities to further develop personal, social, and methodological skills. The diverse range of activities available to tutors at TU Darmstadt provides a broad spectrum for this purpose. To support preparation and deepen knowledge, the HDA offers students at TU Darmstadt various qualifications, workshops, and materials, which serve as a supplement to the offerings provided within their own department.
Tutorial Teaching Qualification
The tutor qualification is aimed at all students that would like to prepare themselves for the role of a tutor. This will prepare you for the role, as well as the structuring and moderation of tutoring sessions. Furthermore, these offers are provided in order to guide and to deepen the learners' understanding. These are applicable for tutors.
As support for interdisciplinary study projects we offer the qualification of team tutors. This qualification introduces knowledge and skills to moderate teams as well as being able to present them with methods of operations for their project work. These are requirements which can be accessed for later assignments in interdisciplinary projects.

We offer all students training in key skills. The training will cover themes such as moderation, time and self management at university, agile project management, bullet journaling, design thinking, elevator pitches, story telling, etc…

Key skills are both crucial and supportive aspects for university as well as a successful entry into the job market. This includes skills such as cooperation, strong communicative abilities and good self management. If you are interested, please follow the link below to view our offers. Learn more
Qualification of trainers in key skills
We provide advanced training for you as a trainer. With us, you will learn how to design and deliver your own topic as a Key Skills Training (TISK) by first participating in a workshop on training design and engaging in accompanying discussions.
