Professional Competence Level

To complete the Higher Education Teaching Certificate – Professional Competence Level – you will have to implement a specific teaching innovation. We will accompany and support you in the planning and implementation of this individual teaching project.

Integrated into this phase is an expert-based teaching observation. in which we will visit you in your teaching events and will give you feedback in accordance with your need for advice. The prerequisite for starting the individual teaching project is that you have completed the Basic Competences Certificate in full. It is not possible to retrospectively have a teaching project recognised, which has already been carried out.

To deepen and broaden your expertise in higher education didactics, you must also cover workshops corresponding to 32 work units. You can also do this before completing the basic competencies certificate. Here you will have a free choice of topics.

At the end of the professional competence level, you complete the teaching portfolio and submit it to the HDA (Dr. Stefan Scheiner, Coordinator Higher Education Teaching Certificate ).
