Connected within the TU Darmstadt and beyond

Inspiration and topicality can only be guaranteed in exchange with others. We network with various actors within and outside the TU Darmstadt.

Internal university cooperation

The Society for Key Competencies in Teaching, Research and Practice emerged from the nationwide working group for key competencies. It promotes networking, discussion and the exchange of experience on the use and development of key competencies or interdisciplinary competencies at universities and university-related institutions.

In addition, a regional exchange takes place in the Central Working Group.

The network tutorial work focuses on the exchange with other universities and colleges on the topic of tutorial work and tutor programs. Thereby, the further development of tutorial work is to be advanced and there is the possibility for regional and supra-regional exchange on various training and further education in the supervision of student tutors.

Working Group for tutors

The working group of tutors of the network tutorial work deals with all concerns around the qualification and work with tutors. All interested participants of the universities are invited. With the goal of mutual professionalization of the networkers, offers and concepts, methods and ideas are exchanged.

Working Group for University Start

In the working group for the university start of the network tutorial work, there is an exchange with other colleges and universities about the qualification of orientation tutors and mentors. In addition, the design of the study entry phase and the promotion of key competencies of students are further topics about which an exchange of experiences takes place.

Hessian tutorial network

In July 2021 the first Hessian meeting on tutorial work took place. All representatives of the Hessian universities who deal with tutorial teaching were invited. From this first meeting a working group developed, which deals with all concerns of tutors in Hessen. This working group has set itself the goal of acting in the future as its own regional network, the Hessian tutorial network, in order to communicate and implement the concerns of Hessian tutors more strongly. At the moment the network is being established.
