At least 6 participants

The guidelines for course evaluation at the TU Darmstadt state that at least 6 students must have participated in the evaluation of your courses for an evaluation to be possible. If the number of participants is less than this, no evaluation can be carried out.

Support with didactic questions

If you have questions about didactics or would like further didactic training, you can find support at the University Teaching and Learning Development Unit .

Who receives the evaluations for the course evaluation is initially defined in the guideline for course evaluation at the TU Darmstadt.

Mandatorily, the following persons receive the evaluation:

  • the (main) lecturer of the course
  • the Dean of Studies of the respective department

Optionally, the results can also be sent to other people who were involved in the course: Send evaluation to several teachers .

Furthermore, no one will receive your personal evaluations. They may also not be requested by other persons or institutions.

The evaluations are sent out promptly – approx. 48h – after the end of the evaluation period.

This happens automatically. If you have agreed with us on an evaluation period that differs from your department, you may still receive an email at the end of your department's period.

In principle, however, the following applies: If you have agreed a different period with us, this agreement remains in place and you will receive your correct evaluation at the end of your individual period.

Can you receive your evaluations earlier?

If you would like to receive the evaluation before the end of the evaluation period, please feel free to contact us.

All evaluations are available in PDF format.

For 10 or more participants in your evaluation:
You will receive a complete standard report including personal data and open answers.

From 6 to 9 participants in your evaluation:
You will receive a standard report without the personal details of the participants.

If there are less than 6 participants in your evaluation:
You will receive an email stating that your course cannot be evaluated due to the low number of participants.
